They say, “Necessity is the mother of invention”—and that couldn’t be truer for us.

When Delphi, our Great Dane, joined our family nearly six years ago, she instantly shared our love of the outdoors. Living in the stunning Mid-Wales countryside, we embraced every season, every adventure—rain or shine. But with every walk, there was always one inevitable problem… the muddy paws!

​

​Drying coats helped, but they didn’t solve the issue of her wet, muddy paws. No matter how well I cleaned Delphi’s long legs and giant paws, I’d still find muddy prints trailing through the house.

​

One day, out of sheer frustration, I grabbed an old towel and some Velcro and stitched together the very first drying sock. I wanted something functional, comfortable, and stylish—something Delphi could wear while chilling out after a walk, but still move around in.

​

That simple idea has come a long way. Now, our drying socks are a daily essential. We use them at home, when staying with friends and family, and on day trips and holidays across Wales and beyond.
